Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to and use of the Clipboard apps and website.

Effective date: September 27, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Clipboard (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into these terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use of the Service and these terms.

3. License and permitted use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for lawful purposes in accordance with these terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained it.

You may not:

  • reverse engineer, circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access-control features, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use the Service to violate law or the rights of another person;
  • distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service; or
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you save or process with Clipboard. You are responsible for that content and for ensuring you have the right to copy, store, synchronize, and use it. Do not use Clipboard for content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or exposes information you are not authorized to handle.

5. iCloud and third-party services

Some features rely on services supplied by Apple or other platform providers, including iCloud and app-store payment services. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

The iOS and macOS versions of Clipboard are developed as separate apps, and each app can be used independently. Access purchased for the iOS app does not unlock the macOS app, and access purchased for the macOS app does not unlock the iOS app. Each app is priced and purchased separately so you can choose only the version you need.

Some features require an in-app purchase or subscription. Pricing, billing period, and trial information are shown before you confirm a purchase. Charges are processed by the app store associated with your account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your app-store account settings before the renewal deadline shown by the store. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled under the applicable app store’s policies and applicable consumer law.

7. Updates, changes, and availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. Updates may be required for continued use. We do not promise that every feature will always be available on every device, operating-system version, or region.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or our trademarks to you.

9. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Clipboard is a productivity tool; you should keep independent backups of important content.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer-protection law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, misuse the Service, or create legal or security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the Service or law. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
